To commemorate the birth anniversary of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad, a Freedom Fighter and the first Education Minister of independent India, we celebrated the National Education Day by first singing the National Anthem and then, Ms. Cassandra Arockiam, a student from MBA-II enlightened all of us on the valuable contributions made by Maulana Abul Kalam Azad and his great life. After her speech, we initiated and conducted a discussion amongst students to know their opinions on ‘whether only a person who undertakes formal education can conduct himself/herself well?’ Majority of the students denied that only people who undertake formal education conduct themselves well and we ended the session with a prayer for well-being of all.
