Dr. BHAGWANTI NANWANI is, the Founding Director of Sadhu Vaswani Institute of Management Studies, Pune.
Dr. Nanwani completed her PhD under the UGC’s Teacher Fellowship program and her doctoral work looked at the challenges and opportunities thrown up by a contemporary issue - Consumerism in Core Service Industries.
Dr. Nanwani has been at the forefront of work that bears testimony to the objectives and ideals of nurturing woman talent for ethical and effective leadership.
Dr. Nanwani has several presented publications and 2 Patents to her credit; served as a Member of the IMC Knowledge (Skill and Education) Committee; empaneled as Trainer, Maharashtra State of Entrepreneurship Development (MCED) and has conducted Management Development Programmes for organisations within India and in Dubai. She has served as a Mentor for Tribals under GOAL [ an initiative of the Ministry of Tribal Affairs and FACEBOOK [ Meta] ]
She is a recognized Ph. D guide for Commerce and Management students, some of whom are senior lecturers and managers in well–known companies.
Recognizing her contribution to her profession, the Uttar Bharatiya Sangh felicitated her for Dedicated Services in 2005 and the Rotary Club conferred on her the Vocational Excellence Award in 2007-2008.
Recipient of the Most Outstanding New Find Rotarian Award of the Year 2013 -2014, she was also awarded for Outstanding Contribution by the Rotary Club of Pune Central. Additionally, she was conferred the ‘Nation Builder Award’, by the Rotary Club Pune & Uttar Bharatiya Sangh, Pune [2018]. She is also the recipient of the Outstanding Woman Award [ Education] by the Kripps Foundation.

Dr. Divya Lakhani is an accomplished academician with over two decades of experience in teaching, research, and academic leadership. She is currently serving as Associate Professor & Head of the MBA Programme at SVIMS, Pune, where she also coordinates the IQAC, driving quality initiatives and NAAC accreditation.
She holds a Ph.D. in Commerce, is Recognized as PhD Guide by Savitribai Phule Pune University under the Faculty of Financial Management.
She is a Fellow Member of The Institute of Cost Accountants of India (FCMA), and has qualified UGC-NET in Commerce.
She secured an All-India 2nd Rank in ICWAI Intermediate Examination and was a university rank holder in B.Com.
Her teaching portfolio spans subjects like Business Research Methods, Direct Taxation, Personal Financial Planning, Decision Science, Optimization Techniques, amongst Others. She actively mentors faculty on innovative teaching pedagogy and encourages students to undertake research.
She has published over 25 research papers in reputed journals, covering areas such as insurance, sustainability.
Previously, she also held key academic leadership roles at Dr. Vikhe Patil Foundation’s Centre for Management Research and Development and IBSAR, Pune.
Dr Ashish.R.Jaswal

Dr. Jaswal leverages his extensive academic experience and industry knowledge to make a meaningful impact on marketing and education. With over 16 years of educational experience and a Ph.D. in Marketing Management, he is passionate about promoting knowledge and developing future leaders. Through his formal education and several add-on courses, such as Services Marketing, SelfKnowledge, and Business Analytics, he has consistently improved his abilities and competence throughout the years.
For over five years, he worked as a Territory Manager at Nicholas Piramal (India) Ltd and then as an Area Business Manager at Sahyadri Pharma Pvt Ltd. These positions gave him practical insights into the corporate world while improving his strategic thinking and leadership skills. His dedication to continue learning is demonstrated by his involvement in 20 Faculty Development Programmes, some of which were held by prestigious universities such as IIM-Kozhikode, BIT Mesra, NIT Tiruchirapally, and IIT Kharagpur. These experiences broadened his viewpoint and enabled him to stay on the cutting edge of educational practices.
Dr. Jaswal has 25 research publications; 10 of which were in the UGC CARE Group-I and one in the UGC Care Group-II. In addition, he has actively interacted with the academic community by attending 15 seminars and conferences across the country.
In his words, “ My desire to mentor, teach, and spread knowledge motivates me. I want to motivate and inspire the next generation of students and professionals. I will bridge the marketing theory and practice gap by combining my academic experience and industrial insights. I aim to be an education instructor, researcher, and leader who catalyzes positive change. Through continuous learning, mentorship, and impactful research, I strive to leave a legacy that contributes to advancing these fields and developing individuals who will shape the future”.
Dr. Vaishali Rajendra Patil

Dr. Vaishali forayed into academics after 10 years in Banking Sector. She has completed 8 years in the academic sector, bringing about the experiences of industry into academics.
She is passionate about subjects such as Financial Management, Accounting for Business Decisions, Corporate Finance, Banking operations to name a few. Being a thorough Finance Professional, she balances the call of duty with her heart invested into her students. She earns much respect from her students as well as her colleagues. Her pedagogy is a balanced mix of practical along with theory. She ensures that the students get regular interaction with experts from the financial world.
Dr. Patil has meticulously performed the duties of a Chief Exam Officer (SPPU Examination), She has written 12 research papers in journals of eminence.
Dr. Niji Shajan
Dr. Niji Shajan, an accomplished academician in Human Resource Management, brings over 18 years of teaching expertise complemented by 2.5 years of industry experience. She serves as an Assistant Professor at SVIMS and is recognized as a PhD guide by the Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU), playing a pivotal role as the Research Centre Coordinator at SVIMS.
Dr. Shajan has made significant scholarly contributions with the publication of three books and over ten research papers in esteemed national and international journals.
Beyond academics, Dr. Niji actively contributes to cultural initiatives and student development programs. She is a passionate student counsellor, fostering holistic growth and guiding students toward their personal and professional aspirations. Her multifaceted contributions continue to enrich the academic and cultural fabric of SVIMS
Ms. Soumya Vadavi
Ms Soumya Vadavi is an academician and researcher with over 12 years of experience in higher education, specialising in Human Resource Management and Organisational Behaviour. She is currently pursuing her PhD in the Faculty of Management at Symbiosis International (Deemed University), Pune, where her research focuses on the gig economy and women's employment.
She serves as an Assistant Professor, teaching postgraduate management students while actively mentoring research projects. Her research interests include the gig economy, women's workforce participation, human resource management, the future of work, organisational behaviour, and employment policies.
Soumya has published more than 10 research papers, including several in Scopus-indexed journals, and has presented her work at national and international conferences. Her expertise encompasses qualitative research methodologies, as well as academic writing and scholarly publishing. Her professional interests include research collaboration, academic publishing and peer review.

Dr. Shveti Chandan has contributed as a Reviewer during the “2nd International Conference on Emerging Trends & Contemporary Practices - ICETCP 2024” hosted by Atmiya University, Gujarat, sponsored by AICTE and CSIR.
Dr. Shveti completed her Ph.D. at Saurashtra University, Rajkot, Gujarat, with a focus on “Design, Implementation & Performance Analysis of Robust Digital Watermarking Techniques for Images.” Her primary research areas include Machine Learning and Image Processing.
Dr. Shveti Chandan has published three papers in International Journals and has presented three papers at IEEE Conferences. Additionally, she has authored three books: “Knowledge Representation and Artificial Intelligence: ML, DL” published in 2023, “Computer Organization and Architecture” published 2014, and “Programming in C#.Net” published in 2011.
Dr. Deepak Singh
Dr. Deepak Singh, PhD (Computer Management, SPPU, 2025), is a passionate academician with over two decades of experience in higher education. He has served in key leadership roles at SCMIRT, Pune, including Acting Principal, Vice Principal, and Head of the Computer Science Department.
With strong expertise in AI, data analytics, and cybersecurity, Dr. Singh combines technical proficiency (SPSS, Pandas, Power BI) with effective leadership and mentoring skills. He has been honored with the National Excellence Best Teacher Award (2024), Teaching Excellence Award (2013), and multiple Best Paper Awards at international conferences.
A lifelong learner, Dr. Singh is committed to fostering innovation, academic excellence, and positive impact through education and technology.
Dr. Kiran Dnyaneshwar Tikar
Dr. Kiran Dnyaneshwar Tikar, Ph.D. (Organization Management), MCA, B.Sc.(Electronics)
She is an accomplished academician with 15 years of experience including 1 year of industry experience and 12 years of SPPU approved teaching expertise, contributing to higher education through teaching, research, and institutional leadership. She has taught diverse subjects including C Programming, C++ with Data Structures, Java Programming, C#.NET, Networking, Data Mining, ADBMS, ERP, and Optimization Techniques. She has authored books such as Principles and Practices of Management and Organisation Behaviour, Data Structures through C++, and Advanced Database Management System, and has qualified the five NPTEL exams (Data Structures, Data Mining ,Consumer Buyer Behaviour etc). Her scholarly contributions include 4 research papers in national and international journals and presentations at 6 conferences. She has attended multiple seminars, workshops, and FDPs, on OBE, MCDM, Research Enrichment, etc. and contributes to institutional committees such as NAAC, reflecting her influential role in academic governance and quality assurance. Beyond academics, she has excelled in co-curricular activities, participating in the National Games 1998 (Javelin and Disc Throw).
Ms. Asha Mane
Ms. Asha Mane has qualified SET in Commerce & Computer Application and is pursuing Ph.D (Commerce & Management, SPPU). She is a passionate academician with over 19 years of experience in higher education. She has expertise in teaching subjects like Python, Artificial Intelligence, Cyber security, Java and Software Engineering to undergraduate and postgraduate students. She has published books titled Operating System and Digital Marketing as well as multiple research papers in reputed journals on topics such as Data Warehousing, Data Science, Commerce & Management. She is actively involved in academic responsibilities, including syllabus framing, paper setting in SPPU, student mentoring, and coordinating events like seminars and workshops.
Additionally, she has served as a Jury member for State-Level Competition and contributes to various Institutional Committees, including NAAC. She served the key leadership role at AM College, as Head of the Computer Application & Management department. She has been honoured with the Best Teacher Award (2025).
Ms. Yogita Parag Kadbane
Prof. Yogita Parag Kadbane is an Assistant Professor at Sinhgad Institute of Management, Pune, with over 15 years of teaching experience in Management and Computer Applications. She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Organizational Management (Business Analytics) at Savitribai Phule Pune University. Her areas of expertise include Business Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Python, Power BI, Tableau, Digital Business, and Research Methodology. She has published research in international conferences and actively contributes as an SPPU Paper Setter, Examiner, and Project Guide. Passionate about innovation-driven education, she is committed to developing analytical, research, and industry-ready professionals through experiential learning
Ms. Rucha Mohite
Ms. Rucha Mohite is an IT professional with over five years of industry experience as a Systems Engineer, specializing in project management, technical support, team leadership, and knowledge transfer. Alongside her corporate career, she has two years of experience in higher education as a lecturer, teaching subjects such as Internet of Things (IoT), jQuery, and Analysis & Presentation of Data where she implemented project-based learning and received consistently positive student feedback.
Rucha holds Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) and Master of Computer Applications (MCA) degrees, both completed with an A Grade. She has further enhanced her technical expertise through certifications in L1 Network Administration, Internet of Things (IoT), Data Privacy Compliance & Assessment, Privacy by Design, Power BI, and Python. Her core areas of interest include Information Technology, technical support, emerging technologies, and technology-enabled education, with a commitment to delivering innovative solutions and fostering effective learning environments.
