The event "Meri Mati Mera Desh: Maati Ko Naman, Veeron Ka Vandan" was held on 15
September 2023 to honor the sacrifices of our nation's martyrs and celebrate our patriotic
spirit. The ceremony began with a tribute to the soil and heroes, followed by poetic
recitations and songs focused on national pride.
A keynote speech by Ms. Vidhi Sharma, Student of MBA – I emphasized the importance of
patriotism, while an interactive session encouraged participants to reflect on their role in
nation-building. Post this, the audience took a Pledge led by Dr. Divya Lakhani, HOD-MBA.
Dr. Kalpana Salunkhe informed the students about the concept of “Amrut Kalash”. She
exhorted the students to bring
handful of soil from their
home/native place/historical
place and put in the Kalash that
was placed at the Institute’s
Entrance, after which a Rally
would be taken out in nearby
areas.
The event concluded with a
moment of collective reflection
and the national anthem.
The event successfully instilled
a sense of unity, pride, and
gratitude towards the sacrifices
made for the country's
freedom.
