On 12th September 2023, a menstrual hygiene awareness session was conducted at Sant Gadge Maharaj Vasti. The initiative aimed to educate women and young girls about safe menstrual practices, focusing on the difference between using cloths and sanitary pads. A skit was performed as part of the event illustrated the challenges and health risks associated with using cloths, such as infections and discomfort, while showcasing the advantages of using sanitary pads. A hands-on demonstration was provided on the correct usage and disposal of sanitary pads. Free samples of sanitary pads were distributed to participants to encourage adoption.
