The Institute conducted a Faculty Development Programme to give an overview of different collaborative and ICT Tools that can aid in the Teaching Learning Process.

Dr. Divya Lakhani, trained in 'Innovative Pedagogical Practices in Higher Education,' conducted a knowledge-sharing program for her colleagues, wherein she focused on different Cooperative Learning Strategies and ICT Tools.

On Day 1, Dr. Divya Lakhani introduced the audience to the concept of Cooperative Learning Strategies. She explained the three types – Jigsaw Strategy, Praise Question Polish (PQP) and Team Pair Solo. Application of these were discussed – For example, in case of codes written for a particular case in MCA, the groups will first write the codes after discussing with each other. The faculty can then apply PQP Model as a result of which the insights of different groups will be known to the students, that will help them to refine the programming codes.

Day 2 was a fun filled Day with the faculty enjoying the application of ICT Tools – Padlet, Kahoot and Mindmeister. Padlet is used to garner responses on a particular topic. Faculty marked their responses on Padlet that helped them to understand how to use it.

A test quiz was created on KAHOOT on the theme of Mythology. Faculty members enjoyed playing the game

Mindmeister, an ICT Tool for mind map was demonstrated and faculty added their inputs to it to understand the collaborative method.

Day 3 was devoted to demonstrating the use of LMS – StudiumTech for Accreditation Management, Planning, Study Material, Assignments, MCQ, etc.
