Research Cell and Library organized a training session on Use of DrillBit: Plagiarism Detection Software Training, in collaboration with DrillBit Soft Tech India Pvt. Ltd., aimed at educating students, faculty, research scholars, and staff on the importance of academic integrity and the effective use of plagiarism detection tools. The session was delivered by Mr. Akash S., Assistant Manager at DrillBit Soft Tech India Pvt. Ltd., who provided a comprehensive overview of the software’s features, including document upload, similarity report generation, and interpretation techniques. 64 participants, including students, faculty members, research scholars, and staff, attended the session with great enthusiasm. Participants were guided on best practices for avoiding plagiarism and interpreting results accurately. The session concluded with an interactive Q&A, where participants shared positive feedback and expressed interest in using DrillBit. With active participation and enthusiastic engagement, the session achieved its goal of promoting responsible academic writing and research ethics.
