On 12 September 2023, a visit to the historic Pataleshwar Caves was organized with a dual
purpose: exploring the cultural heritage of the site and promoting an eco-friendly lifestyle.
The event emphasized avoiding plastic usage and adopting sustainable alternatives like paper

and cloth bags. The event aimed to Spread awareness about the environmental hazards of
plastic pollution and encourage the use of eco-friendly alternatives.
Banners with slogans like "Ditch Plastic, Embrace Nature!" were displayed to create
awareness among visitors. Audience was
encouraged to use cloth bags to reduce
plastic dependency. Participants took a
pledge to reduce, reuse, and recycle,
committing to a sustainable lifestyle. One
tourist shared how the event inspired her
to start carrying reusable bags during her
travels, reducing her reliance on single-
use plastics.
